Today: present continuous: o que está acontecendo agora.

It's happy hour. He is drinking a beer. He isn't drinking soda.









The girls are really hungry. They are eating hotdogs. They aren't drinking anything.














Love is beautiful. They are not fighting. They are kissing.














The kids are playing in the park. They aren't playing videogames. Smart kids.

















What? Is that a monkey? Is he playing the guitar? Yes, he IS playing the guitar.





















That's a beautiful girl, isn't she. She is sleeping like an angel. What is she dreaming of?

He is a soccer player. He is playing soccer. Is he Brazilian?

What a beautiful family. They are watching TV. They are having a real good time.







So, it works like that : SUBJECT + VERB TO BE + MAIN VERB WITH ING.

The negative is: SUBJECT + VERB TO BE + NOT/N’T + VERB WITH ING

The interrogative is: VERB TO BE + SUBJECT + VERB WITH ING.
